3 Year Full-time Contract, Salary around $65K (depending on experience)
This person will be integral to our online presence, promotional campaigns, media and public relations and marketing. They will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the NCIE website, twitter, facebook and the next big social media phenomenon when it arrives. Must live breathe and think digital to maintain our online presence to generate Indigenous and non-Indigenous audiences who are interested in supporting and participating in NCIE programs.
This role is part: strategy, creativity, innovation, communications, marketing, media and youth engagement. It requires someone who can go from working on strategies in collaborative teams to engaging with youth directly online. Someone who is able to show leadership and communicate effectively with organisational leaders and engage with young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people about the issues affecting their communities.
This person will need to have strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills. They will need to be able to work well independently and in a collaborative team environment.
The Digital Innovation and Communications Manager will report to the NCIE’s Head of Communications and may manage volunteers from time to time.
