The Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) is Australia’s leading factual and documentary conference, market and networking event. The organization is going through an exciting period of change and transformation as it enters a new era, with an imminent move to Melbourne and a new principal partner in Film Victoria.
The AIDC board has recently reviewed the staffing structure and operational model with a view to streamlining and improving efficiencies whilst ensuring the ongoing viability of the organization. For this reason the board is piloting a new operational model for 2015/16, to enable the core team of staff to work remotely utilising online technology for a large part of the year.
The AIDC Board of Directors is seeking to appoint three new staff in the first instance:
• A CEO/Conference Director with creative vision, well-developed business skills and leadership expertise, to lead the organization into the future and consolidate the position of the conference as a key event on the international documentary and specialist factual calendar. • A highly-organised, efficient and personable Administration Manager with strong financial/bookkeeping and administrative experience to facilitate the smooth behind-the-scenes operation of the organization. Download the position description and selection criteria here.
