By July 31, 2014 Entries

Aurora is Screen NSW’s premium feature film development program. Since its inception in 2002, Aurora has attracted acclaimed Australian and international filmmakers as advisors and participants in the program, and has identified major new Australian filmmaking talent. 51 projects have participated in the Aurora programs to date with nine having entered production. High-profile films developed through Aurora include Animal Kingdom, The Black Balloon, Wish You Were Here, Little Fish and Somersault.

In 2014/15 Aurora is again offered as a high level workshop with script development funding. Up to four outstanding projects and talented teams will be selected for a focused and accelerated development process over a period of five months, incorporating a week‘s intensive workshop process with world class development advisors, and a follow up marketplace workshop and script reading.
Aurora is open to feature projects at treatment* or draft stage.

Applications for the 2014/15 Aurora program will close on 15 September 2014. Applications must be emailed and hand delivered to Screen NSW by 4pm on that day.
