The Big Screen Symposium is the annual two-day event that puts the filmmakers of Aotearoa New Zealand in one venue to debate and discuss the future of our cinema.
This year, the Symposium is joined by one of America’s most successful television writers. Lee Aronsohn, the legendary US screenwriter and showrunner of Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory fame will be giving a comedy writing session.
Presented in partnership with Film New Zealand, Aronsohn, co-creator of Two and a Half Men, who has been making memorable television for over 30 years, will lead a special session titled “What Doesn’t Kill Us Makes Us Bitter.”
