DAMIEN

Breaks Film 1919 won Best Music For A Short Film at the APRA/AMCOS Screen Music Awards held last week at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

1919 is based on the true story of a World War 1 soldier who returned from the Western Front suffering such deep trauma he could no longer remember who he was or where he was from.

A big congratulations to screen composer Damien Lane for his suitably experimental and evocative score!

Damien also received a nomination in the short film category for the 10 minutes of continuous music he composed for dance film Emergence.
