Casting Call for Short Film – Trunk

By July 4, 2013 Jobs

At his grandfather’s wake, Neil struggles to stay in control when an absurdly offensive guest shows up. Based on an award-winning script by Jack Cox, ‘Trunk’ is a surreal comedy that puts a surprising spin on a tale of coming out.

We are currently looking for two cast members (one main, one supporting) to join the production:

– Neil (19 to 25 yrs old). Neil is a timid yet endearing wallflower in his early twenties. He wouldn’t be described as handsome but he’s certainly cute, in a slightly nerdy way. He is a bit of a victim but he also has a lot of heart. His humour lies in his bottled-up frustration and awkward disposition – think, Michael Cera. We are looking for an intuitive comedy performer.

– Alex (21 to 27 yrs old). Alex is the boy next door. That rare guy who is good looking, confident but not cocky and sincere in his dealings with people.

Filming is due to take place over one weekend in mid August.

If interested, please reply to Jack (director) and/or Alex (producer). We look forward to hearing from you.
