The NSWRC Board is seeking to appoint a proven Leader to inspire, engage and create momentum for significant growth. A successful track record of performance in the not-for-profit, public or private sectors is required along with a clear affinity for working to achieve Reconciliation outcomes for all Australians.
The Chief Executive Officer has primary responsibility for leading strategic implementation and growth of the organisation, establishing enduring partnerships with the public and private sector, continuing the development of a sustainable income base and raising the profile of The NSW Reconciliation Council. Pivotal to the success of the role will be promoting culture that recognises and manages the passion of staff, volunteers and our members.
The CEO role is based in Sydney and is responsible for the management of the NSWRC’s office, projects, and small team.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate: experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; experience in not-for-profit sector management; superior financial management and fundraising skills; excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, highly demanding environment with a small team.
This is a vacant position which is offered on a full-time basis for 2 years, with salary and super package $70,000 – $80,000. (Dependent on experience).
