By June 28, 2010 Congratulations

Produced by UWS and Metro Screen, the weekly TV series took home Best Program of the Year and Best Current Affairs Program awards. Hosted by Tilly Boleyn and Tim Brunero, ‘Dare I Ask?’ was a weekly chat show broadcast on TVS [Television Sydney] and other Australian community television stations that explores controversial topics such as sex workers, Australia’s citizenship test and female infertility. The Federal Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy Senator Stephen Conroy was the guest presenter at last night’s awards, which acknowledge program excellence in Australian Community Television.

Christina Alvarez, Metro Screen’s General Manager says ‘Dare I Ask?’ has raised the bar for community television program makers in Australia.

TVS will be screening highlights from the Antenna Awards on 11th July at 1800.
