Dukes Shorts Film Exhibition: A Call to Surf Filmmakers and Lovers

Do you love surfing and surf films? Do you want to win a Panasonic GH4 with 12-35mm lens worth $3K? Then get involved in Dukes Shorts Film Exhibition!

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Duke Kohanamoku’s legendary surfing exhibition at Freshwater beach in 1915, Jack McCoy will be showing his award-winning film A Deeper Shade of Blue. A short film competition will also be held in conjuction with this event, and Dukes Shorts is calling for entries.

Duke’s Shorts guidelines are simple:

• Films must be 3-5 minutes
• Films must tell a story that includes “our community’s love and respect for the ocean and the environment”, and/or something that includes Duke Kahanamoku.
• Entries must be high res QuickTime files
Closing Date for Entries: 10 December 2014
As well as winning a new rig, you could have your short shown before Jack’s on the final night of the Duke’s Day celebration.
