Short film Headlight tells the story of Daniel, a 19-year-old man with Aspergers, whose world is turned upside down by the people he meets at a local hangout.
Headlight illustrates how it feels to be an outsider from an insider’s point of view. It explores themes such as anger, frustration, family and love for a teen with a developmental disability.
“It was fantastic to be part of the Breaks program in 2014 because we were able to develop our story with the help of workshops run by professionals; and it also meant we received funding from Screen NSW,” said Producer Milena Gozzo. “However, while the help we’ve received is a good start, and much appreciated, we need more funding to make our film happen.”
Please help Melina and Writer/Director Petrice Graham bring their amazing story to the screen. Even a small donation will make a big difference!
