The Barangaroo Delivery Authority is currently seeking proposals from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander filmmakers and multi-media artists for moving image or sound-based artworks. The brief is now publically available on the BDA website http://www.barangaroo.com/discover-barangaroo/arts-and-culture/opportunities.aspx

The selected project will enable Barangaroo visitors and audiences to experience and appreciate the Aboriginal significance of the site in its past, present and future settings. The selected project will celebrate the Barangaroo site as home to the oldest, living culture in the world and also a place that presents contemporary Aboriginal perspectives and expressions.

The successful applicant will be engaged for a 12-month period as part of the Artistic Associate Program, a multi-disciplinary artist in residence program.

The total budget for the project is up to AUD$120,000.

The deadline for submission is 13 October 2015, 5pm.
