Studio
In October last year Metro Screen was fortunate to be successful in receiving funding for a significant lighting upgrade in its green screen studio. The funding comes under the Community Savers Stream of the Public Facilities Program from the Department of Environment and Climate Change NSW, and is targeted at projects that will reduce energy and or water use.

The funding has enabled Metro Screen to replace seven 5K Halogen lights with a mix of energy efficient cyclorama lights, fresnels and fluorescent soft lights all running through a Strand DMX box located on the studio floor.

Energy savings between %65 to 85% are estimated, enabling Metro Screen studio clients to work in an even greener green screen!

Total funding for the project was $37,772. Supported by the NSW Government’s Climate Change Fund

Studio A
Sound stage dimensions: 8.5 x 10mW x 4mH, chroma key cyclorama, three phase power [30A], black curtains, air conditioning, 8 fluro banks, 6 x 4K soft lights on lighting grid, risers, sandbags, c-stands, flats [additional rates apply], large reception/waiting area, green area, foyer, kitchen and make-up facilities. Venue Hire
High ceilings, air conditioned room available for festival events, cast and crew screenings, forums and seminars. Seats 45 comfortably and comes complete with the use of 50 chairs, two trestle tables, 2m wall mounted screen, Benq Data Projector, [MP620C, 2000 Lumens, analogue and HDMI connectivity], Yamaha Stage Pass PA system, box office area, large reception/waiting area, green room, kitchen facilities and a technical assistant.

$250 flat rate for up to 5hrs between Monday and Saturday. Please call for Sunday rates.


Editing
