Editing Intern Required for Feature Film

By January 13, 2015 Jobs

Aquarius Films is seeking an intern for our latest feature Lion.

Lion is the true story of Saroo Brierley, who was adopted out of Kolkata by an Australian family in 1985 when he was five years old. Twenty years later he embarked on the impossible task of trying to find out where he came from. Using Google Earth and a few scant clues, Saroo eventually located the village he grew up in, flew to the village and found his family. It’s an immensely uplifting story that will touch the hearts of people all around the world. The film stars Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel, and is directed by Garth Davis (Top of the Lake).

Specifically, we require someone who can assist our Editors translate rushes from Hindi (and a small amount of Bengali) to English. The edit is being done at Fox Studios by Alexandre de Franceschi. The job begins on 24 January 2015, and is expected to take approximately 10 days. The days will be flexible.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in editing. Although the role is unpaid, your name will appear in the end credits.
