Established in 2008, the FBi SMAC Awards recognise and celebrate the artists, musos, venues, promoters, creators and culture makers who keep Sydney’s creative heart beating.
Brought to life by an impressive group of artists, writers and art directors who teamed up with Vivid Sydney this year, the 19th International Symposium on Electronic Art (ISEA2013) infused Sydney’s social, digital and physical infrastructure in an epic exploration of how digital and electronic art is intrinsic in our society. The project is nominated in the category of Best Arts Program at this years FBi SMAC Awards.
Several Metro Screen staff were involved with the project:
Marketing and Development Manager, Tiani Chillemi was Communications Manager.
Hire + Post Manager, Martin Renaud and Technical Manager, Ian Andrews, were the lead Producers on the Grobak Padi performance project which involved a live feed from Indonesia a part of the performance.
Voting will run until 5pm on 27th December 2013.
