James’ Silent Disease has an upcoming broadcast date on NITV.
The documentary has been scheduled as part of the Backyard Shorts showcase, currently scheduled for 7.30 pm on Wednesday 18th December 2013.
James’ Silent Disease follows a mother and son’s journey of living with hearing loss that could have been prevented. The documentary is dramatized with the characters being played by Actors Elaine Crombie and Michael Crombie. Ongoing ear disease in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander infants and young children can lead to permanent hearing loss and contributes to social and economic disadvantage.
