The JFF is the largest Japanese film festival outside of Japan and showcases the best in contemporary Japanese cinema including releases that are now showing in Japanese theatres.
The 18th Japanese Film Festival (JFF) will debut its 2014 program from 10 October in Adelaide and continue to travel with a stellar line-up around Australia and Auckland until December in Melbourne.
Opening the 2014 program is Lady Maiko, a musical comedy that takes a look into the wonderful world of geisha. Lady Maiko premieres in Japanese theatres this weekend.
Films screening nationally are announced in the attached media release with something for everyone. Additional titles for selected cities will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Tickets go on sale 4 weeks prior to JFF start date in each city from www.japanesefilmfestival.net. (Sydney and Melbourne will be available 6 weeks out). Early bird tickets available.
