Short film TURN, starring veteran Australian actor John Batchelor (Sea Patrol, Red Dog) and up-and-coming young talent James Fraser (The Water Diviner, Deadline, Gallipoli), will premiere on Thursday 2 April, 6pm at the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington.

Produced by Commuter Films and written and directed by Carly Heaton and Joel Noble, TURN follows a grieving father, Joseph, as he enters a gas station armed with a gun, only to find Adam, a quietly-spoken teenage boy working alone that night. Adam has grown up on the wrong side of town, but when his father returns after a long stint in prison, he thinks his luck and life are finally about to change. But as Joseph attempts to cover his tracks, the situation takes a dangerous and familiar turn.
