Congratulations to the cast and crew of Metro Screen Jump Start short film ‘Kiana’, which has been selected for screening as part of the High Desert International Film Festival in the US this May.
By Writer/Director Hallam Drury, Producer Luke Sheehan and DOP Andrew Johnston, and starring Jennifer Corren, Robert Zurobski, Natascha Szabo, Nick DeLillo, Amanda Marsden, Eleni Dimitriadis & Kendall Drury.
Kiana is an unfolding narrative that explores a young couple’s decision to have a child and its unintended consequences on everyone around them. Due to the stylistic nature of the film, to divulge details about the plot would be counter to enjoying the surprises and decisions that the characters encounter throughout the film. The story revolves around a young married couple who are deciding whether or not to have children. The circumstances of their lives will ultimately shape this decision, and throughout the film we begin to discover why this seemingly innocuous choice will have complex consequences.
The High Desert International Film Festival runs in Pahrump, Nevada from the 22nd to 25th of May.
