Kite short film to screen at Rhode Island Film Festival

By July 17, 2014 Congratulations

Congratulations to  cast and crew of ‘Kite’, who have just been accepted into Flickers: Rhode Island Film Festival.

Kite is a coming of age story about an only child who is faced with her grandfather’s death, leaving her to look after her mother, who has become catatonic with grief.

Written and Directed  by Natasha Bassett, a participant in Metro Screens Artstart Young Screenwriters Program in 2012, where she developed her
short film ‘Kite‘, the short film was then selected for First Breaks funding in 2012, and was Natashas directing debut.  Kites producer,  Alex White, is also currently producing How to get Clean, for the latest round of Breaks funding.

Congratulations from all of Metro screen.
