Marketing Manager

6 month Maternity Leave Appointment

Full time [Paddington, Sydney]

$60,000 pa plus superannuation

Metro Screen is the home for the emerging screen community in NSW, where screen creativity, learning and diversity is embraced, encouraged and supported. We’re looking for the right person to manage our marketing activities for this six month maternity leave position.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the effective development and implementation of Metro Screen’s marketing strategies including design, promotion, event management and market research. This position works closely with staff and the CEO to deliver a coordinated approach to Metro Screen’s communications.

 

Essential Criteria:

Relevant qualifications and/or industry experience

Understanding of the creative industries and Metro Screen’s target audience

Ability to plan and implement effective marketing campaigns

Effective copywriting skills that ‘speak’ to our people

Demonstrated ability to utilize a wide range of communications tools [e.g. digital environment, social media, publicity, advertising, events management]

Experience with Creative Suite, WordPress, CMS, CRM, SEO & SEM

Effective communication skills; ability to work with staff and develop partnerships
