Congratulations to Metro Screen alumni Fran Dobbie and Ruth Cross for being selected amongst 8 new documentary projects funded by Screen Australia.

Fran produced the Breaks 2015 program My Grandmother’s Country a documentary by writer/director Lorina Barker, and the Breaks 2013 drama Dawney Slack by writer/director Elizabeth Wymarra.

Fran also wrote, produced and directed the ear health documentary, Can you Hear Me the national Indigenous ear health program that Metro Screen undertook for the Federal Department of Health and Ageing in 2012.

Producer, Ruth Cross produced the Breaks 2013 documentary web series Defendant Five.
