Metro Screeners’ Success in Sydney Film Festival

Now it’s all over for another year, a big shout out and congratulations to all the Metro Screeners in this year’s Sydney Film Festival!

Metro Screen President and producer Kath Shelper kicked off the event with the opening night premiere of her film Ruben Guthrie, directed by Brendan Cowell.

Producer and Metro Screen tutor Heather Oxenham is thrilled with the success of her short film Bluey. Written and directed by Darlene Johnson, and produced by Heather, Bluey took out the The Event Cinemas Australian Short Screenplay Award.

Breaks alumni producer Charlotte Mars premiered her documentary Gaby Baby, directed by Maya Newell.

Break alumni producer Raquelle David screened her short film The Guests, directed by Shane Danielsen.

Metro Screen graduate Ariel Martin was the ADGs Director’s Attachment to Neil Armfield on Holding The Man.
