Metro Screen’s former Network Co-ordinator , Michael Chrisoulakis, has 2 films screening at this years Thriller! Chiller! Film Festival, which runs from 24th to 26th October 2013.
Carmen, a corporate lawyer, is recovering from a horrific car accident. Housebound, she’s determined to return to work, but the more she tries to regain control of her life and put the past behind her, the more something in the house wants her to re-live that fateful event. The Bind was directed and co-written by former Metro Screen Network Coordinator Michael Chrisoulakis. Co-written by Edmund Jory. Produced by former Metro Screen graduate and current Metro Screen mentor Annmaree J Bell. Metro Screen Certificate IV in Screen and Media graduate Daniel Verguizas also worked on the film as a Lighting Assistant.
An injured bomb disposal technician laments the path his life has taken upon his return to society, from being contently part of the system to opposing it with a vengeance. Drawing on classic comic book elements, Kill Switch is a dark and unique take on the traditional origin story.
