Students of all ages will focus on the value of creativity in the My Story My Content Short Film Competition announced by the Intellectual Property Awareness Foundation (IPAF) and Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM). The competition is an opportunity to make a sixty-second short film celebrating creativity. The theme for 2013 is ‘Why Do I Love Movies?’ and the competition is open to students at all levels across Australia.
The film and television exhibitors and distributors, and the other industry organisations represented by IPAF, are thrilled to give voice to the abundant creative talent of Australian students. While some will simply enjoy the experience, others may pursue a career in the screen industry. We hope that in the process of making these short films, all participants discover the joy of creating screen content, identify the value of the work and recognise the need to protect it.
Deadline is 5pm on Monday 1st July 2013.
