Ngurrumbang – Brisbane International Film Festival

By October 25, 2013 Congratulations

Ngurrumbang is heading North to have it’s QLD premiere at the 2013 Brisbane International Film Festival.

A lavish period drama, Ngurrumbang, is set in rural NSW in the 1850’s and is the story of Kate, a defiant young girl who tries to help an injured Aboriginal boy, only to lead him towards danger.

Ngurrumbang was a finalist in this year’s Dendy Short Film awards at the Sydney International Film Festival and was produced with funding from Metro Screen’s Breaks Program.

Congratulations to Director Alex Ryan and Producer Jiao Chen!
