Metro Screen and Possible Worlds presents a double bill featuring a special presentation by independent filmmaker Ingird Veninger (Canada) at Metro Screen followed by the Australian premiere of her latest feature – I am a Good Person / I am a Bad Person at Dendy Opera Quays.

Born in Bratislava and raised in Canada, Ingrid Veninger formed pUNK Films Inc. in 2003 with a ʻnothing is impossibleʼ manifesto. Since then she has become a key player in Canada’s independent filmmaking community.

As an award-winning creative producer, Ingrid has made numerous films, including GAMBLING, GODS AND LSD,(Genie Award for Best Documentary), THE LIMB SALESMAN (Toronto International Film Festival 2004) and NURSE.FIGHTER.BOY (nominated for 10 Genie Awards in2010, including Best Motion Picture).

Tickets are $25 + booking fee including both the talk and the screening admission

The masterclass with filmmaker Ingrid Veninger is at Metro Screen in Paddington at the corner of Oxford Street and Oatley Road under the Chauvel Cinema in Paddington Town Hall. There is an hour to travel to make your way from Metro Screen to the cinema. Frequent buses leave from Oxford Street directly to Circular where it is a short walk down to the cinema – Dendy Opera Quays.
