Metro Screen has partnered with Vivid Sydney to host the largest annual networking event for film, TV, mobile and content makers in NSW. The event called Speed Networking for Screen and Content Makers will be held on Wednesday 30th May at the Vivid Ideas Exchange located on the top floor of the newly refurbished Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.
Speed Networking is the largest of its kind, attracting hundreds of content creators and story-‐tellers looking to meet the next wave of collaborators and contacts. In a platform agnostic age, content is still king second only to an impressive little black book of contacts to get projects over the line.
This year’s Speed Networking gathering will incorporate mobile devices and applications designed to share creative concepts, detailed contact information and virtual networks. Participants are encouraged to come with pre-‐loaded mobile devices to share and discuss opportunities with potential creative peers.
Previous Speed Networking events hosted by Metro Screen at venues such as the Apple store on George Street have attracted over 200 registrations including experienced and emerging filmmakers, television writers, producers and editors as well as multiplatform producers.
