The Interactive Content & Gaming category of the Qantas Spirit of Youth Awards (SOYAs) is a great opportunity for game developers aged between 18 to 30 to have their work showcased and a chance to be selected to win a significant prize and a credible award. The SOYAs have been running since 2004 and are a high profile creative awards program celebrating young and emerging artists and their contribution to the creative industries.
The deadline for entries is Tuesday 16th April at 2pm AESDT and the prize for the winner is $5k cash, $5k in flights and a 12 month professional mentorship with digital agency Soap Creative.
Last year’s winner was Harry Lee, a 19 year old game developer from Melbourne. He’s the co-director of the Freeplay Independent Games Festival this year.
