We’ve completed shooting our short film entry for this year’s Flickerfest, and are now looking for a talented composer to contribute an orchestral score.
The film is a bit unique in the current landscape, being a silent pantomime Charlie Chaplin-style comedy.
Synopsis: ‘Sunny Day is a circus clown who is having trouble seeing the funny side of life. She hasn’t been able to make herself or others laugh lately and she’s about to lose her job, when a wandering clown named Billy Bonkers comes by to audition. Billy is immediately smitten and makes it his mission to help her find her sense of humour again, even if it kills him.’
We’re in the final stages of editing and there’s about three weeks till the deadline, so if you’re interested in composing something for the film, which is about 10 minutes at the moment, please get in touch with samples of your work. We’re hoping the film will screen at the festival and get considerable exposure. The music will be an essential part of that.
If you’re interested please contact Adrian at firstname.lastname@example.org with some samples of your work.
