Our short film Stationery is a whimsical comedy set in an office, which deals with the universal themes of love, ageing, connection, change, loneliness and getting out of trouble with the boss.
It’s looking great so far – running at about nine minutes – but it’s very low on dialogue, so there’s quite a lot of room for some interesting sound editing.
We need the help of an amazing sound editor!
We have a fantastic team involved, including: Dave Cameron (ACS Gold winning DOP); Kate Armstrong-Smith and Joseph Couch (Producers); Vanessa Downing, Alan Flower and Lucy Wigmore (Cast); Becky-Dee Trevenen (Production Designer); Gordon Russell (Editor); Shirley Barrett (Directing Mentor); Emily Maguire (Composer); Glenn Humphries (Sound Mix); Richard Teague (Sound Recordist); Department of Post NZ (Grading) and Lucy Wigmore Writing/Directing.
The only downside is that we’re on a very tight budget, and everyone who has worked on the film has done so for free. Our budget has covered Cast/Crew expenses and the cost of equipment hire, but everyone has generously donated their time.
