Got an idea for a digital interactive documentary? Here’s your chance to get some expert advice! In an exciting first for Antenna, we are launching a pitching session for digital interactive documentaries. The best submissions will be invited to pitch to a panel of industry representatives from The Guardian Australia, Screen Australia, SBS Online and The Powerhouse Museum, during the festival in October 2013.
Guidelines for projects:
Documentary or factual storytelling in a form specific to online presentation.
Projects can include any combination of video, audio, stills and animation.
Projects must be conceived specifically for the web, and stand alone online. (i.e. we won’t accept proposals that are add-ons for linear traditional-screen projects).
Submissions must include the following:
Title and two-sentence summary
Short bio for each member of production team
The best submissions will include sample material, such as web-links. Submissions at concept stage will also be considered.
The pitching opportunity is open to anyone, but finalists must be able to attend the pitch in person at Antenna in Sydney in October. Travel is at finalists’ own expense.

Finalists: Finalists will be invited to pitch their proposals to the expert advisory panel. Each will have five minutes to present, and the use of visual material is encouraged. Panellists will provide feedback and advice on the pitches. Finalists will also be invited to attend a networking session with the panellists, immediately following the pitching session.
