The Good Dog! International Film Festival: Call For Entries

The Good Dog! International Film Festival is calling for entries for short and feature length films, short stories, kids short stories, teleplays and short and feature screenplays. All submissions must include or feature a dog. Professional and amateur filmmakers working in all genres, including narrative, documentary, animation and experimental, are welcome.

Submission deadline: 30 September 2015

No late entries will be accepted and no fees will be waived. All profits go to charity. So far the Festival has donated in excess of $15,000 to dog charities. In 2016, the beneficiary is Young Diggers, a charity that trains comfort dogs for returned soldiers suffering from post traumatic stress disorder.

The total prize pool is estimated at $10,000.

The festival is also seeking media, outdoor venue and event sponsors in all states for the 2016 touring festival screenings, which will take place from 18 March 2016.
