The Revelation Perth International Film Festival launches its 2013 Travel Fellowship, inviting submissions from filmmakers and film fans from across the country who want to attend Australia’s most creatively progressive film festival. The Revelation Perth International Film Festival (4th to 14th July 2013) is Perth’s only international film festival and Western Australia’s major annual screen culture event. Launching its country-wide Travel Fellowship for the fifth year, the Fellowship provides financial assistance to attend Revelation in July 2013 to three successful applicants. Revelation wants to hear from those with a genuine interest in cinema and screen culture. Applications are welcome from Australian residents over 18 years of age with a demonstrable passion for film.
The festival’s Program Director Jack Sargeant said, “Yet again we’re pleased that the Rev Fellowship will offer the opportunity for young people to come to Revelation Film Festival and enjoy experiencing one of the country’s most unique screen events. They’ll get to see some of the best, most exciting, stimulating and interesting cinema out there, from award winning movies to the work of unknown visionaries, feature films and documentaries, as well as our special events and workshops. And, because they’ll be travelling interstate, the fellowship winners will also get to see Perth and WA too. ”
AUD $1000 per person will be granted to cover travel and accommodation costs for successful applicants. Applicants also receive a Festival Gold Pass, a Revelation Guest pack, Opening Night tickets, free access to all RevCon Sessions and master classes and the opportunity to be a special part of the event.
