Trainee Animator/Editor/Sound Editor – CAAMA Productions
Are you artistic? Like working with computers? Ever thought about being an Animator?
CAAMA Productions is seeking expressions of interest from indigenous people with creative flair and the ability to learn computer skills to take up a position as a trainee animator for 12 months. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced Animator for an initial period of 5 months to help produce a series of 12 short animations, then working on other productions on the CAAMA slate for a further 7 months expanding into additional roles in postproduction, including picture and sound editing.
You will receive formal training and on-the-job training in order to help you develop your creative and technical abilities.
The successful applicant will have:
- A knowledge of, or keen interest in, media software programs such as Adobe Photoshop
- Creative flair and a keen eye for detail
- An ability to organise and focus on tasks
- Passion for all forms of storytelling, especially in a digital media environment
