Women in Media NSW Presents An Evening with Anita Jacoby

Please join us for drinks and nibbles and a special presentation from Anita Jacoby, managing director of ITV Studios Australia.

One of Australia’s most experienced media professionals, Anita Jacoby is responsible for managing the local day-to-day operations of this global media company and an industry trailblazer.

Anita has worked in publishing, print and television across the spectrum of news and current affairs (60 Minutes, Witness, Sunday, Today and Laws), documentary, comedy and entertainment. As a leading executive at Zapruder’s other films, she created many original programs including Enough Rope, The Gruen Transfer/Planet, Elders, Hungry Beast, David Tench Tonight, AFP and the feature documentary God on My Side.

She sits on a number of boards and is a part-time member of ACMA (Australian Communications & Media Authority).

At this exclusive WiM event, Anita will speak about what it takes to bust through the glass ceiling, the importance of mentoring and how women can help other women.

Women in Media will also announce the first round of successful applications for the WiM mentoring program!

This networking event is proudly hosted by APRA AMCOS and supported by MEAA, The Walkley Foundation, Media Super and McGuigan Wines.
