Each year the Academy’s Foundation administers the Sir Peter Ustinov Television Scriptwriting Award. The competition is designed to motivate novice writers under the age of 30 outside of the United States, and offer them the encouragement and recognition that might lead to a successful career in television scriptwriting. The 2015 competition is officially open!

The winning scriptwriter will be flown to New York City and presented with a $2,500USD prize at the International Emmy® World Television Festival on 21 November 2015. The winning script will be read by actors in front of an audience at the Festival, and the winner will be invited to take part in the red carpet event at the 43rd International Emmy® Awards on 23 November 2015.
The deadline for submissions is 1 July 2015.
