Bike Shorts is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talent to both the industry and public. The competition will be judged by a panel featuring some of the biggest movers and shakers in the film and sustainability industries, with the winning filmmaker collecting $1,000 cash and a mentorship with Emmy and AACTA award-winning Firelight Productions. To enter Bike Shorts, filmmakers must peek into the weird and wonderful to create a fun and quirky film of up to 5 minutes duration. Entries made especially for Bike Shorts are encouraged however pre-made original Australian films will also be accepted. Entries close on Monday 25th November 2013. Shortlisted films will be screened at a special public event at Magnificent Revolution’s pedal-powered cinema at The Rocks Village Bizarre on Friday 6th December 2013.
The Rocks Village Bizarre brings together curious and quirky adventures and intimate performances in the streets and laneways of The Rocks on Friday nights in November and December.
