Metro Screen, the digital, TV and film development hub is pleased to offer the Diploma of Multiplatform Production.

Learn the skills to create your own narrative based storyworlds and the technical production skills to produce your own narrative based multiplatform projects. Understand the different platforms available, the type of media they support and the relationship between them. Develop your own blog, model and project prototype, project proposal and final Electronic Proof of Concept [EPOC]. Showcase your EPOC at the end of the Diploma to a panel of industry representatives who can provide invaluable insights for your project to go into production.

Multiplatform means the days of traditional screen and media project releases and their marketing strategies are near an end. Audiences demand an interactive and immersive experience in order to engage with characters and narratives. Brands want marketing and advertising strategies focussed on creative stories consumers can experience and participate in. This Diploma will give you the skills and knowledge you need to work professionally as a multiplatform producer and depending on your own interests and existing skills base you could also gain work as a multiplatform writer, multiplatform director or multiplatform marketer after graduation.

Open House – Share Your Vision
Every month Metro Screen flings open the doors to anyone interested in digital media, film or television projects or career pathways. Metro Screen is a one-stop-shop industry development hub driven by creativity not-for-profit. Funding, training, equipment and networking departments work full time to develop visions in to screen content. This is a free event for people at all levels to peak behind the curtain, have a sticky beak at the facilities and ask all the questions you like.

Multiplatform Strategy
Multiplatform expert Sohail Dadhal will take you through the foundations of developing a multiplatform strategy for your project. Pauline Findlay and Alex Edmonson from Shooting Venus will share tips and insights to develop you brand story using transmedia techniques.
