By September 9, 2014 Entries

My name is Paola di Gravina and I work at the Apulia Film Commission in Bari, Italy. I would like to tell you about our ‘Apulia Audiovisula Workshop: Puglia Eperience 2014/2015’ — an initiative dedicated to screenwriters internationally. Sixteen screenwriters from around the world will be selected to participate in the workshops, which will take place in the Apulia region of Italy from 17 November to 6 December 2014, and 9 to 21 February 2015.

Focused on television series screenwriting, the workshops will be lead by an American Screenwriter/Director/Producer, James V. Hart (Hook, Bram Stoker’s Dracula); and assisted by Chris Vogler, author of the one of the most influential books about screenwriting, The Writer’s Journey; Script Editor Claire Dobbin; Screenwriter Ellen Sandler (Everybody Loves Raymond); and the writing team of The Killing, Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin.

The workshop will include lessons, individual modules, a writers room, location scouting, and a final pitching session with international broadcast producers.
