Indiegogo Campaign Launch – Sweet Disposition

By November 25, 2013 In production

This group of filmmakers have just launched an Indiegogo campaign for their short film ‘Sweet Disposition’. Find out more and how to help them reach their target goal.

Adam is the successful owner of an advertising agency, loved by women yet unable to understand what it is to love someone.

When he meets Mathilda at his local cafe, he becomes so infatuated that he can’t speak to her. She is oblivious to his feeling, and he believes the only way to obtain her is in his dreams. As his obsession deepens, his dreams become his raison d’être, and all reality is lost…

So often in life we avoid risks, we don’t acknowledge our inner desires. Society, conventions, fears, morality all remove us further and further from our true emotional state. Our aching desires are ignored. Emotionally frozen, we choose safety over risk, convention over adventure.

So often we use our dreams to explore obsession, fantasy…our deepest desire.

As a storyteller I feel compelled to enter this world.

Sweet Disposition is a drama/art film by French writer/director Kathleen Hrayssi. Her first film in this trilogy, ‘Lie to Me’, was funded by Metro Screen and Screen NSW and  has been screened at various film festivals including the Montreal World Film Festival and the St Louis International Film Festival. Her second film, the independent short ‘Way Out’ has screened at the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival 2013 and NOLA: Timecode (U.S).
