We are looking for emerging talent with a PR, Journalism or Film/TV background. You must be an excellent communicator, have a willingness to learn and a sense of adventure. An interest in Australian politics and a commitment to hard work is also required.
Research Position – Work closely with the filmmakers to conduct further research, access archival footage and when required interview and shoot subjects and sequences. Essential requirements; Excellent research, writing and interview skills. A sound working knowledge of video and image file formats. An in-depth knowledge and interest in contemporary Australian society, politics and culture. Basic shooting and cutting skills.
PR Position – Work closely with the filmmakers and crowdfunding consultants to build and launch an ambitious crowdfunding campaign. Learn more about launching a media brand and building audiences. Require; high level communicator, with attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Work with the filmmakers to produce a crowdfunding campaign video from scripting through to completion. Work closely with all members of the team to launch and run the crowdfunding campaign. Require; Social media savvy, creative and independent thinking, adaptable and positive team player.
This is an exciting and ambitious project. Internships are unpaid but could lead to paid work when the film is fully funded. Hours are flexible.
