Metro Screen would like to congratulate the successful 2014 Breaks & Raw Nerve Funding recipients. The eleven teams have embarked on the journey of getting their scripts onto the screen in the development hot house before going into production later this year.

Past Breaks films have screened internationally at festivals including Palm Springs Short Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival and locally at The Dendy Awards and Flickerfest among many others.

The 2013 Breaks production, The Woodcutter, directed by Tommy McSweeney and produced by Kieran Cato, screened this month on ABC2’s First Date, Worst Date short series and can currently be seen on ABC iview.
