Sydney Underground Film Festival (SUFF) has announced its full festival lineup, taking place from 17-20 September, and all tickets are now on sale!
Over four big days, the festival will screen over 100 films sourced from the very best in subversive, experimental, and controversial films internationally, including Australian premieres, retrospectives and Q&A screenings, alongside masterclasses and special musical performances.
The 2015 festival will open with a literal bang with the latest sexually charged work from provocative writer-director and festival favourite, LOVE IN 3D. This controversial semi-autobiographical film set chins wagging at Cannes.
Other highlights include some awesome music documentaries: SALAD DAYS: A DECADE OF PUNK IN WASHINGTON, D.C., WE ARE TWISTED F*CKING SISTER! and THEORY OF OBSCURITY: A FILM ABOUT THE RESIDENTS. Also the story behind the infamous Silk Road in DEEP WEB.
Take a trip down memory lane with a selection of retrospective screenings, including Larry Clarke’s 90s indie film KIDS, and a special 50th anniversary screening of the proto-feminist sexploitation classic FASTER, PUSSYCAT! KILL! KILL!
Closing the festival will be Eli Roth’s latest thriller KNOCK KNOCK, a sick, twisted and brilliantly trashy sexploitation thrill ride starring the man of the moment (again) Keanu Reeves!
The Festival opens on Thursday 17 September at the Factory Theatre, Marrickville.
