Candid Projects is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new short film festival, the ‘Rider Film Festival’ (RFF), which is dedicated to the passion and technical skill of skateboarding.
The festival will take place during Vans BOWL-A-RAMATM Bondi 2014 ‘Festival of the Skateboard’ which will be celebrating its 10th birthday.
The screening of shortlisted films will be held on Thursday 20th February 2014 at The Beach Road Hotel from 6.30pm, as part of the Vans BOWL-A-RAMATM Bondi week-long event schedule.

Deadline for entries is Friday 31st January 2014.
Shortlisted films will be announced Friday 7th February 2014.
The judging panel will include international pro-skateboarders and media in town for Vans BOWL-ARAMA TM Bondi 2014 and renowned film professionals, details to be announced shortly.
Categories in which films will be judged are:
• Best Film
• Best Cinematography
• Best Featured Talent
• Best Editing, Best Soundtrack
• Best Original Script or Story
• Grom Award (for filmmakers aged 14 and under on Friday 31st January 2014.).
Entries are being opened up to film-makers based in Australia and overseas. In regards to creative specification, all submitted films must be about or include skateboards/skateboarding.
The RFF is affiliated with the US based International Skateboard Film Festival. The winner of the BEST FILM category will be screened at the ISFF event in Los Angeles in 2014. Other cash and product prizes will be provided by BOWL- A-RAMA TM and RFF sponsors.
