Global Youth Video Competition on Climate Change

If you are between the ages of 18 and 30 we want to hear about your inspiring actions. Think about a project or campaign you are involved in to combat climate change, an action which convinced your parents, school or college to take climate action, a lobbying of your elected members of parliament or your city leaders. Whatever is making a difference, turn it into a snappy concise video and join the competition.

Make a three minute film about the action you are involved in to combat climate change. The videos may be recorded in any language, but English subtitles must be provided.

Deadline: 23.00 GMT 17 August 2015.

Short Film Proposal Competition win US $1,500.

There are two categories in the competition – each looking at different aspects of the environment.

The winner in each category,  the film which receives the most views on tve‘s Inspiring Change YouTube channel, will receive US$1500 If we commission your film, there’s a 1 in 3 chance of winning! Shorlisted films will also be screened in Paris at the UN COP21/CMP11 Conference in December 2015.

A judging panel will select the best three proposals in each category and provide funding of US$300 to help you make your film. Funding will only be awarded on delivery of the film.

The deadline for the delivery of the final films is 12 October.

The films will be uploaded to tve‘s YouTube channel tveinspiringchange and the film in each category with the most views by 18 December will each receive a US$1500 prize.
